Getting Started with CleanCloud

Here's some helpful advice to make sure your launch goes perfectly!

1. Have an Onboarding Session with one of our experts

Get expert guidance from one of our onboarding specialists to make sure that your account is all set up and that you fully understand the workflow. Otherwise, you can use the session to address any pending questions and get advice on tools you can use to grow your business.

💡 If you have any questions regarding your onboarding package or would like to book another one, you can email [email protected].

2. Setup your Hardware

Get your hardware set up and place some test orders to ensure you’re happy with everything prior to going live.

👉 If you opted for our Grow or Grow + Onboarding plans our support team can help you with this. This article guides you on how to contact them to set this up. Make sure you click on “Hardware Help”.

If you opted for a Starter onboarding package, you will need to set up the hardware by making use of our dedicated Hardware collection of help articles.

3. Staff Training and Permissions

The best time to ensure your staff is trained is after you have completed your onboarding session. Make sure you have set them up as a user already and ensure they understand the workflow. Whether they will handle taking in orders, the cleaning process or they will be picking up and delivering orders, ensure they know what they are doing and encourage them to place test orders of their own to make sure they understand the workflow and system.

🎓 It’s also a good idea to have a look at the videos we have in CleanCloud University to ensure you are trained on all the key aspects of the software: CleanCloud University. In order to access the videos you need to be logged into your CleanCloud account.

4. Ensure your Payment Provider is Set up Properly

If you have an integrated payment processor (Clearent, CleanCloud Pay) then make sure it is set up correctly and make sure you have placed test orders on this prior to going live.

🚀 Are you interested in using CleanCloud Pay? Here is how you can get started and activate it in your store!

For a non-integrated payment processor (this would be any payment processor which is not listed above, then in that case just make sure your card payment processor is working as expected).

5. Things to let your customers know

If you are just using CleanCloud to take orders from walk-in customers, let them know that they will be notified as soon as the order is ready, customers tend to really like this. If on the other hand, you want to encourage customers to place orders with you through the CleanCloud customer app or through your website, then make sure to let them know where they can go to place orders with you.

📢 If you want to promote the CleanCloud app and get customers to sign up for your online store, then go to Settings > Admin > Store Settings > Services Offered > Download App QR Code. This will print a QR code which will make it easier for your customers to download the app and start placing orders with you!

An example of what this QR Code looks like can be found below. It would have your logo on it as well (if this has been uploaded to your account).

💡 Tips:

👉 If you already have your own website and would like to get the booking tool on it, have a look at the instructions on how to do this from here: Embed Your Store.

👉 If you do not have your own website and you want to create a website via CleanCloud’s web builder tool, you can find more information on this here: Hosting Your Website.

An example of what a CleanCloud hosted website looks like is The Laundry Craft — take a look!
