Using Facebook and Google Analytics is great for advert tracking because it allows you to track the success of your advertising campaigns. You can see which adverts are performing the best, get insights into who is engaging with your ads, and measure the effectiveness of your ad spend. It also helps you to measure the return on investment (ROI) of your ad campaigns, so you can make more informed decisions about how to allocate your budget.

First, you will need to create an ad campaign in Google/Facebook. Make sure that your campaign has conversion tracking, then Google/Facebook will provide you with the required code (a JavaScript snippet) to embed on your website to help with tracking.

Please note: You MUST place the Google Analytics and/or Facebook/Meta Pixel code/snippets onto your website for any of this to work.

Once the code/snippet is inserted, CleanCloud will be able to detect this and will send events to Google/Facebook. In short, when a customer clicks on a Google or Facebook advert and uses the web booking tool, CleanCloud will notify Google/Facebook when the customer signs up and when they create an order. This allows you to track how effective your ad campaigns are at converting people into paying customers.

Please find the events we fire below:
Google Analytics events: sign_up and purchase
Facebook events: CompleteRegistration and Purchase

The events will include the total order value as well, but it may be incomplete if customers are not allowed to select items/garments.

Please note: this will only be applicable to the web booking tool.
