Boost your business reputation by leveraging CleanCloud’s Customer Reviews feature. This guide walks you through setup, usage, and tips for collecting and managing reviews seamlessly.

Why Customer Reviews Matter

Customer reviews strengthen your brand, attract new clients, and provide feedback to improve your service. CleanCloud lets you collect positive reviews publicly while handling concerns privately, fostering trust and loyalty.


Setting Up Customer Reviews

Follow these steps to enable and configure the feature:

1. Enable Marketing Pro Settings

  1. Navigate to Settings → Admin → Marketing → Marketing Pro.

  2. Complete all required fields to activate the review system.


Step-by-Step Configuration

Google Search Terms

  • Use Google’s Place Finder to find your business.

  • Enter your business name and copy the full name and address into the Google Search Terms field in CleanCloud.

    • Example: SpinXpress Laundry - McAllen, TX, USA.


Yelp URL

  • Copy your Yelp business web address.

  • Paste it into the Yelp URL field.


Facebook URL

  • Copy your Facebook page URL.

  • Add it to the Facebook URL field.


Google Direct Review URL

  • Obtain your Place ID from Google's Place Finder.

  • Replace {place_id} in this link: ​https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid={place_id}.

    • Example: ​https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=ChIJpdCydfSnZYYRvXLfN7K51iQ.

🪄 Tip: If you would like to check if the review page is set up correctly, you can copy and paste this address into your internet browser and press enter. This should take you to the reviews page in Google.


Yelp Direct Review URL

  • Navigate to your Yelp page and click the Write a Review button.

  • Copy the URL up to the first question mark (?) and paste it into CleanCloud.

    • Example:

      • From: https://www.yelp.com/writeareview/biz/abc123?source=biz_details.

      • Use: https://www.yelp.com/writeareview/biz/abc123.

🪄 Tip: As we did with Google, we recommend just trying to visit this page you set up in your browser to make sure it is working. This should take you to the reviews page on Yelp.


Facebook Direct Review URL

  • Add /reviews to your Facebook page URL.

    • Example: https://www.facebook.com/yourbusiness/reviews.


Nextdoor Direct Review URL

  • Add /recommend to your Nextdoor page URL.

    • Example: ​https://nextdoor.com/pages/yourbusiness/recommend/.


New Review Notifications

  • Enter the email address where you want to receive notifications about new reviews.


Review Request Frequency

You can control how and when review requests are sent:

  • Trigger Options:

    • After X orders.

    • After every X orders.

  • Send Options:

    • By Email, SMS, or Push Notification.

  • Delay Options:

    • Set a delay before sending review requests (e.g., 1 day after order completion).

  • Print a 'Review Us' QR Code:

    • Go to the Marketing page and click Print Review Us QR Code to generate a scannable code for customers.


How It Works for Customers

  • Review Request Sent: Once an order is completed, customers receive a request via email, SMS, or push notification.

  • Positive Feedback: Customers with positive experiences are guided to leave reviews on Google, Yelp, or Facebook.

  • Negative Feedback: Customers with concerns are directed to a private form to share feedback directly with your team.


Tracking and Managing Reviews

View Public Reviews

  • Go to Settings → Marketing → Reviews to view public reviews on platforms like Google or Yelp.

  • If your review count in CleanCloud doesn’t match what you see on Google:

    • Go to Settings → Admin → Marketing → Google Search Terms and confirm your settings.

    • If still incorrect, contact Support. We can reset the integration, which usually syncs reviews within 24 hours.


View Customer Feedback

  • Go to Metrics → Reviews to see customer comments, sortable by time period or staff member.


⚠️ Key Notes

✅ Customers must have opted in to marketing under Settings → Enable Marketing Email & SMS Opt-In.
✅ Respect opt-out preferences; do not send reviews to customers who haven’t opted in.
