At CleanCloud, we recognise the impact that customer reviews have on how clients see your business. Therefore, we offer a fantastic feature that can help you get and organize reviews efficiently.
How It Works
It allows you to automatically prompt your customers to leave you a review AND intercept any negative reviews left, sending them through to you directly and only pushing the positive reviews into your review platform. This ensures only the best image of your business is shown to your customers and new potential buyers.
This feature prompts your customers to a) leave you a review and b) send any negative feedback directly to you instead of through a review.

Activate the Feature
To get this useful feature up and running, head over to Settings > Admin > Marketing and fill out all of the details in the “Marketing Pro” area.
We will provide step-by-step instructions, but if you need any help with this, just reach out to us and our customer support team will be more than happy to help.
1. Google Search Terms
Step 1: To get the most accurate information for your business as seen by Google, visit this page.
Step 2: On the page, you will find a search box - type in your business name and once it has been found, copy and paste the full name and address into the Google Search Terms box within CleanCloud.
Example: Your information should look like this: SpinXpress Laundry - North McAllen - Wash & Fold Services, North 23rd Street, McAllen, TX, USA.
2. Yelp URL
Simply copy your Yelp business web address and enter it into the Yelp URL field.
3. Facebook URL
Simply copy your Facebook business web address and enter it into the Facebook URL field.
4. Google Direct Review URL
Step 1: Visit this page to obtain your business's unique Place ID and copy it into CleanCloud.
Step 2: Then, replace the
{place_id}
with the unique Place ID of your business in Google.
Example: The link https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid={place_id} should be changed to https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=ChIJpdCydfSnZYYRvXLfN7K51iQ.
💡 Pro tip: If you would like to check if the review page is set up correctly, you can copy and paste this address into your internet browser and press enter. This should take you to the reviews page in Google.
5. Yelp Direct Review URL
Step 1: To obtain your Direct Review URL for Yelp, first go back to your Yelp page and click on the red “Write a Review Button”.
Step 2: Copy the URL up until the first question mark
(?)
.Step 3: paste that URL into the CleanCloud Direct URL.
Example: If you go to https://www.yelp.com/biz/fresh-by-spinxpress-san-antonio-2 and click on the review button it takes you to this page https://www.yelp.com/writeareview/biz/ZOBK89xH8W2J8FiIEknNMA?return_url=%2Fbiz%2FZOBK89xH8W2J8FiIEknNMA&source=biz_details_war_button we only need to paste this part into the CleanCloud Direct URL https://www.yelp.com/writeareview/biz/ZOBK89xH8W2J8FiIEknNMA.
💡 Pro tip: As we did with Google, we recommend just trying to visit this page you set up in your browser to make sure it is working. This should take you to the reviews page on Yelp.
6. Facebook Direct Review URL
If you navigate to your Facebook page, you will find the URL by adding '/reviews' to the end of its page address.
Example: If the page address is https://www.facebook.com/yourbusiness, the URL for reviews should be https://www.facebook.com/yourbusiness/reviews.
7. NextDoor Direct Review URL
If you navigate to your Nextdoor page, you will find the URL by adding '/recommend' to the end of its page address.
8. New Reviews Notification Email
Here you can provide an email address where you would like to receive notifications about customer reviews.
9. Review Requests Frequency Type
You have three options to customize when review requests will be sent out. You can customize the triggers and frequency to fit your needs.

Note: We normally recommend turning all options on for SMS, Email and Push Notifications.
10. Print 'Review US' QR Code
You can print out a QR code for customers to leave you a review by clicking on “Print Review Us QR code”. This will look like the following:
Requesting and Tracking Reviews
Here's a step-by-step guide on how customers can share their experiences and how you can access and review their feedback:
Step 1: Review Request
Once an order is completed, customers will receive a review request. Included in the request is a link that customers will click to begin the review process.
Step 2: Positive Experience
Customers who had a positive experience will be guided to a prompt where they can choose to share their reviews on popular platforms such as Google, Yelp, or Facebook. This way, their positive feedback helps build your business's reputation.
Step 3: Negative Experience
In the event a customer had a less-than-positive experience, we take proactive measures to handle it discreetly. Instead of leaving a public review, they'll be directed to a private feedback section. Here, they can share their concerns and experiences confidentially with you. This allows you to address any issues and resolve them, reducing the likelihood of negative public reviews.
Step 4: Public Reviews
As the positive reviews come in, you can view them through the marketing page on the CleanCloud system. To access the reviews, go to Settings > Marketing > Reviews. Here, you'll find the public reviews left by your satisfied customers.
Step 5: Viewing Customer Feedback
If you wish to explore customer comments further, you can access a more comprehensive view of the feedback by navigating to Metrics > Reviews.
Within this section, you have the flexibility to sort the reviews based on specific criteria, including the period and the staff member responsible for servicing the order. This allows you to gather valuable insights and continually improve your service.
Note: Reviews will only be sent to customers who have opted in to receive marketing messages. Configure this in Settings → Enable Marketing Email & SMS Opt-In. It's recommended to keep this setting on to respect customer preferences. If turned off, you might contact customers who prefer not to receive messages.
