Add PayPal as a payment method to streamline transactions. Customers who don’t pre-pay can settle bills via email notifications using debit/credit cards or their PayPal account. This saves time at pickup by allowing customers to pay in advance through a digital receipt link they receive via email.
How to Activate PayPal
Set Up a Business Account: Ensure you have a PayPal Business Account.
Configure PayPal in CleanCloud:
Log in to your CleanCloud account.
Navigate to Settings → Admin → Payment & Finances → PayPal.
Enter your PayPal Merchant ID in the required field.
Click Submit to save your changes.
Important: To automatically update orders in CleanCloud when a customer pays via PayPal, set your Instant Payment Notification (IPN) URL in PayPal settings to: https://cleancloudapp.com/paypal/ipn.php

Payment Links
PayPal payment links will be sent only via email notifications, not SMS. Customers will receive a digital receipt link via email and can select Pay by PayPal to complete the payment.
Note: If you only provide SMS notifications, the payment link will default to online card processors like CleanCloud Pay or Clearent, and not PayPal.
