Auto Charging Saved Cards

You can set CleanCloud to automatically charge saved cards on file when an order is moved from the Cleaning page to the Ready page.

By enabling this option, you won’t have to manually enter payment information for orders, increasing efficiency and streamlining payment processing.

Instructions

Follow the instructions below to enable this feature in CleanCloud.

  1. Go to Settings > Admin > Payments & Finances > Payments.

  2. Once you are in payments, you will need to go to the setting “Auto Charge Saved Card When Order Cleaned”.

  3. Here you will be able to select from the following options:

    • Never

    • All Orders

    • All Orders and Group Payments for Customers with Orders with Same Ready Date

    • Pickup & Delivery only

    • Pickup & Delivery Only and Group Payments for Customers with Orders with Same Ready Date

Once you have selected the relevant option, hit “Update” and the setting will be live.


Auto Charge Saved Card Failed Message

If you encounter an issue with completing a customer payment in the POS system, you will be notified by an on-screen banner that reads: “Auto Card Payment failed for order ID”.

This offers a secure way to alert you that the payment didn't go through, and you can then contact the customer and let them know that something went wrong. This will help to ensure successful transactions.

Note: In your account settings under Admin > Settings > Notifications > General Settings you can turn on a notification to alert your customer “When Auto Charge Saved Card Fails”.
