CleanCloud has partnered with the Blue Marine Foundation, powered by Adyen Giving, to give your customers a simple way to support ocean conservation at checkout.
This is the second charitable giving option available through CleanCloud Pay, joining our existing LaundryCares Foundation feature. For stores on CleanCloud Pay, customers can add a donation to ocean conservation during payment at the in-store terminal, with 100% of funds going directly to the Blue Marine Foundation.
ℹ️ Activating This Feature: This feature requires manual activation. To enable charitable giving on your CleanCloud Pay terminals, please contact our Account Management team at [email protected] and we will get it set up for you.
How It Works at Checkout
The customer completes their order payment as normal
Once payment is finished, the terminal prompts the customer asking if they would like to make a donation
If the customer selects Yes, they are asked to enter a donation amount
The customer taps their card again to complete the donation
The order payment and donation are processed as two separate transactions. The donation amount is sent directly to the charity and does not appear in your CleanCloud account, as it is not part of the order payment.
ℹ️ No additional steps are required from staff during checkout.
