This feature allows customers to add a charitable donation during payment on CleanCloud Pay in-store terminals, supporting programs that strengthen local communities through free laundry services, literacy initiatives, and disaster relief.
How the Donation Feature Works
Donations are presented at checkout on CleanCloud Pay terminals.
Customers can choose to add a donation as part of their payment.
100% of donated funds go directly to the LaundryCares Foundation.
Donations are processed securely through Adyen Giving.
No additional steps are required from staff during checkout.

How does the donation process work at checkout?
How does the donation process work at checkout?
When donating to the LaundryCares Foundation via a CleanCloud Pay terminal:
The customer completes their order payment as normal.
Once the payment is finished, the terminal prompts the customer asking if they would like to make a donation.
If the customer selects Yes, they are asked to enter a donation amount.
The customer taps their card again to complete the donation.
The order payment and donation are processed as two separate transactions.
The donation amount is sent directly to the charity and does not appear in your CleanCloud account, as it is not part of the order payment.
