CleanCloud's hosted websites include a complimentary domain (e.g., mylaundry.cleancloud.site). For a professional and personalized touch, you can connect your own domain (e.g., mydrycleaner.com) to your hosted website.

Why Connect Your Own Domain?

Connecting your domain allows you to:

  • Remove the .cleancloud.site suffix.

  • Maintain full control over your domain while benefiting from CleanCloud's hosting.

  • Create a professional online presence for your business.

🪄 Tip: Already own a domain? Easily link it to your CleanCloud website. If not, consider purchasing a domain from providers like GoDaddy, Squarespace, or Namecheap for seamless integration.

Edit Your Domain DNS Records

Follow these steps to link your domain to CleanCloud:

  1. Log in to Your Domain Service Portal: Access your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Google Domains) with your login credentials.

  2. Navigate to DNS Settings: Locate the DNS Settings section, where you’ll manage your domain’s configuration.

  3. Add New DNS Records: Look for an option like "Add Record" or "Add DNS Record."

  4. Set Up A Records: Add two A Records with the following details:

    • First A Record:

      • Hostname: @ or leave blank.

      • Value: 188.93.149.83

    • Second A Record:

      • Hostname: www

      • Value: 188.93.149.83

These records direct visitors to your CleanCloud-hosted website, ensuring both yourdomain.com and www.yourdomain.com point to your site.

Wait for Propagation: DNS changes may take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours to update across the internet.

Example DNS Records:

Value

A

@

188.93.149.83

www

188.93.149.83
