Running Payroll with CleanCloud
You can easily manage your payroll through your CleanCloud account, making the process efficient and hassle-free.
🎓 Before you start, it's essential to understand how the clocking in/out tool works. We recommend visiting our CleanCloud University and watching the 'Staff Management' course for a better grasp of this tool.
To get started with payroll, follow these steps:
1. Assign Hourly Wages: Ensure that you've assigned an hourly wage to all your staff users who will be on your payroll. You can do this when adding a user or editing an existing user from Settings > Users. |
2. Configure Payroll Settings:
|
3. Set Weekly Overtime Hours: Define the weekly overtime hours limit, typically 40 hours in the US and UK. This limit helps distinguish regular hours from overtime hours. |
4. Specify Overtime Wage Multiplier: Set the overtime wage multiplier. If your employees work more than the defined weekly limit (e.g., 40 hours), the additional hours will be calculated at the overtime rate. Enter the relevant multiplier, often 1.5x higher than the normal hourly wage, in this field. |
5. Choose Billing Cycle: Select the billing cycle for running payroll, such as weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. |
6. Set Payroll Start Date: Establish the payroll start date. Payroll calculations will begin from this date, utilizing the clocking in/out hours for wage calculations. It's crucial to make all necessary adjustments before running payroll on Settings > Users > View Hours. |
7. Saving the Changes: After ensuring all the settings are correctly configured for payroll in Settings > Admin > Payments & Finances > Payroll, don't forget to click the green 'Submit' button to save your changes. |
8. Running Payroll Reports: To run the payroll report, navigate to Settings > Users > Payroll. Here, you can access and customize the payroll report. Adjust overtime hours, and regular hours, or include bonuses for your employees as needed. |
🚀 With CleanCloud, managing your payroll has never been easier.
