To turn your weight scale into a WiFi scale you need a device to connect it to your WiFi network.

We support the Air Console Mini which you can purchase from https://www.get-console.com/shop/en/25-airconsole-mini-20

This device was tested using a Mettler Toledo BC-60.

If you are using a serial weigh scale, then you will also require a RJ12 to USB cable which you can purchase from Amazon.

Installation

1. First, Power on your Airconsole by sliding the Off/Charge/On slider to the โ€œRโ€ position. The Airconsole takes about 20 seconds to boot. The light on the top will transition from Red to blinking Blue. Once the light has been blinking blue for about 10 seconds Airconsole is fully operational.

Do NOT use the C position to charge up your Airconsole. This position is used for when using Airconsole to charge up other devices. Use the R position or Off Position to charge up the Airconsole internal battery.

2. Connect the USB ended cable from the scale to the USB port on the Airconsole adaptor, and the RJ12 end to your serial device. On the Mettler Toledo BC-60 you will find the port on the underside of the scale labelled '10101 RS232'.

3. Now that the Airconsole in connected to your scales, we need to connect to the WiFi network on the device. If you go to your WiFi and join your mobile/PC to the Airconsole Wifi network. If your device asks for a password it is 12345678. To do this go to your iOS device settings page, select Wifi and Choose the Airconsole-[XX] network.

Data Bits :

7 Bits

Stop Bits :

1 Stop Bit

Then press Apply.

6. Now click on 'Wireless' in the menu and then 'AP Client' in the grey sub-menu.
