๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Customers with a Custom Phone Number in the US, take note! Recent US laws aim to fortify SMS security and reliability, impacting message transmission.

New Regulations Overview

A series of laws and regulations have been passed in the United States to make SMS messaging more secure, reliable and trusted. This includes more advanced spam and fraud detection filters which could have an impact on the SMS notifications we send.

These industry-wide requirements from The Campaign Registry (TCR) affect all 10DLC (10 Digit Long Code) providers and companies. You can find more information here.

โš ๏ธ A reminder email was sent out in February requesting that the necessary information be updated by the 10th of March 2023. In case you weren't able to view it, this article will provide all the details you need.

Key Requirements

Due to this, it is imperative to register your custom phone numbers to ensure your SMS messages are sent. In order to register it, we will require the following information:

  1. Legal Company Name

  2. Full Owner Name

  3. Organization's Legal Structure (Publicly traded or private)

  4. Tax Number/ID/EIN

  5. Complete Address

  6. Website

๐Ÿšง Due to carrier updates, campaign approval takes 2-3 weeks.

Pricing Structure

  • The monthly custom phone number cost rises to $25, enabling you to send both "Order Notifications/Updates" and "Marketing" messages.

  • Opt for the Grow package for coverage of setup and upkeep fees. Pricing here.

All numbers must be registered to prevent US Carrier message blocks.
